King of 94 II - Las Vegas

After a one-year hiatus, Mikey McBryan has a surprise announcement for the NHL'94 community as the tournament shifts to Las Vegas at the Downtown Grand!

This gave everyone an opportunity to watch Mikey's "Pixelated Heroes" NHL'94 Documentary for the first time! You can now view it on youtube!

​We were also fortunate to have sportscaster, Arda Ocal, join us for the weekend and he was able to capture the weekend with an excellent write-up. You can read it here.

Story from Halifax:

"I was at my gate at the airport, sitting down for a couple minutes, getting ready to fly to Las Vegas. I then hear over the PA system

'There is a Super Nintendo at security, if this is yours please pick it up.., that's a SUPER NINTENDO!'

Lady across from me says, with general concern, "I sure hope the kid gets their Nintendo back"

I sigh, stand up and say "yes. It actually belongs to a 40 year old kid." This draws some laughs from the people around me as I walk back to security. 

I get back to security and the security staffer recognizes me and says"man you can't forget this. I loved the Super Nintendo!" Again this draws smiles and chuckles from people near by. "
